Two days after Miley Cyrus’ Can’t Be Tamed was released on iTunes and it is already #1 on iTunes! That means that she passed up Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber! She even posted a little something on her blog to celebrate:

As of yesterday, May 18, Miley Cyrus’ latest single, Can’t Be Tamed is available on iTunes for download. The song will cost you $1.29 to download but it is already more popular than Miley Cyrus’ inspirational hit, The Climb. Can’t Be Tamed has also surpassed Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

Miley Cyrus is a global phenomenon. She has sold over 15 million copies and has had two albums go to #1 in the charts. Her latest album, one that she described as being more “techno”, has just been given a release date. So, mark your calendars girls! Miley Cyrus’ next album (by the name of Can’t Be Tamed) will be hitting store shelves on June 22, 2010!

Now, that may seem like that is a long time from now. It is. However, we can get a sneak preview this Friday! You heard me! This Friday, April 30, Miley’s single “Can’t Be Tamed” will be premiering on Myspace Music at 12pm EST/9am PST. So, make sure that you tune in on Friday. You read the headline right! Miley Cyrus has teamed up with famed American Idol producer/creater Simon Cowell. This good partnership is due to an even greater cause: Haiti Relief. A few weeks ago, Haiti went through a debilitating 7.0 earthquake with aftershocks hitting 6.0 just last week. The poorest country in our (the United States’) hemisphere, buildings collapsed and hospitals were abandoned.

So, being the caring girl that she is, Miley Cyrus agreed to join Susan Boyle and Rod Stewart. There are other rumors that Paul McCartney and George Michael have also been approached to aid with the song. The song is promised to be released on iTunes this week so stay tuned! I will most definitely be breaking the news. And for those of you that do have iTunes and are Miley fans, I suggest you purchase the song for this noble cause (with your parent’s permission of course).
