On tonight’s episode of Glee (titled “Laryngitis”), Rachel Berry (played by the talented Lea Michele) attempts to sing Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb”. Rachel chose the song because of its overall message of “overcoming obstacles and beating the odds” but panic occurs when Rachel realizes that she has lost her voice hence why she sang the song so badly. Sixteen year old, Haeley Vaughn, sang Miley Cyrus’ hit song The Climb in this past week’s American Idol. When asked what kind of career she imagines herself having she responded, “Miley Cyrus is one of my icons. Oh my gosh, I love her….” You can watch her rendition below.

The judges didn’t think Haeley did as good of a job as she could and sadly, she did not have enough votes to stay on the show. How do you think she did?
