Miley Cyrus is cleaning up her closet for good cause, to help raise money for several charity organizations. 

“Starting in August, you can bid on clothing and accessories straight from the closet of Miley Cyrus,” it was announced. “New auction will be added each week with all proceeds going to Get Ur Good On, a social network that brings together children and youth to support each other in the mission to do ‘good’ in their communities.”

Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Miller of “The Last Song” will also place some of her items on eBay for online bid auctions as well.  You can find more information on her auctions by visting the following eBay address:

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato Are Not Friends Anymore?

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are 2 talented young girls and it seems that Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato don’t have time for each other anymore.I wonder if Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will be friends in the future.Friendship surrounding Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato might have weakened a bit in recent months, as the actresses ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘Sonny Among Stars’ were inseparable before Lovato started dating Joe Jonas.Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato were best friends but now Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato don’t have time for their friendship.

Once Demi Lovato had started out with the young musician, Miley Cyrus was not accompanying her, since, as presumed, it was strange being in front of Joe Jonas, after she had an affair with his brother RAPD Nick Jonas. I hope that Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will remain friends.

But according to a common source for both artists, the real reason for the gap is due to their careers as artists. “The shows offered everywhere as time-consuming for the two can meet for coffee or to shop,” said the informant.

Miley skipping the Teen Choice Awards this year.

“Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus may not be attending the Teen Choice Awards this year because she is working on a couple of new projects such as  “LOL”, but she is still finding a way to reach out to her young fans with some of her music.

The new project is a movie called “LOL: Laughing Out Loud.” The movie is a remake of a French movie made in 2008, and it is likely that Demi Moore will play Miley’s mom in the movie.

In the film, Miley’s character has been cast off by her boyfriend and decides to pursue his best friend, while at the same time her mother is divorced and is finding it difficult to restart her life as a single lady while trying to maintain a relationship with her daughter.

The updated version of the film will be written and directed by the original writer/director of the French film, Lisa Azuelos.

With that being said, Cyrus is also taking some time away from her new movie’s set in order to shoot a new music video for “Who Owns My Heart”.  What is odd is that it will be filmed overseas — Everyone is wondering wow will she have the time to finish both? –  Miley’s new song, “Who Owns My Hearts” will be launched as her next single from the “Can’t Be Tamed” album.

As for here in the United States, Miley is attracting more attention with her new single, “Two More Lonely People”, which kind of sounds close to Justin Bieber’s “One Less Lonely Girl.”  Both songs are great and it is going to be interesting to see which one makes it to the top of the charts!

Miley: wants to be a role model and wants to make the kids happy.

Even in spite of some of the criticism fired off in Miley Cyrus’ direction, she wants to use the “Hannah Montana” character to inspire young kids both with her TV show and her actions in real life.

In a new interview, Miley claims that playing her famous Disney Channel character has been helpful for her to maintain a role model status:

“So I think it has made the transition easier, because I never said I was going to be perfect. I never really put on a persona. I’ve always been really honest about who I am.

“And yes, I want to be a role model and have people look up to me. But this also doesn’t mean that I am not going to live the way I want to live, or do what I think is right.”

Many parents have proclaimed that Miley is exactly the “opposite” of a good role model, beginning with a controversial Vanity Fair photo shoot and most recently continuing with her new album “Can’t Be Tamed” (and its music video).

“I’m going to grow up at some point, and I’ve been always honest about that.“

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she said in the statement. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

Miley will miss acting as Hannah Montana, her famous Disney Channel character.

Miley Cyrus admits she’ll miss the stability of having Hannah Montana in her life.

The actress — who shot to fame in the smash hit Disney show — says the series has been like a “security blanket” and she’ll miss it when it wraps and the end of its fourth season.

“Probably just the security blanket,” Cyrus said. “When I go on tour, when I go shoot a film, or whatever I’m doing, I always get to go back to that same rhythm that I know so well, and the same people, and know it’s going to be a comfortable place and a good environment. That’s not the same on every set.

“It’s nice coming back to a set where you have people that you could be yourself around, before any of this craziness happened, before my records, before my movies.

“It sounds weird, but Hannah Montana seems almost like going to school, and I’ll miss that.”

Cyrus, 17, recently insisted she has “changed a lot” since the start of Montana.

“I think I’ve definitely changed a lot. When I came to the set, I had my mom,” she said last month.

“She was my assistant, make-up artist, hair stylist and wardrobe person, all at the same time. My mom had me in this t-shirt that she had got for me that says: ‘I should have my own TV show.’

“I had it on with my skirt and full face make-up. I was just sitting there like: ‘Oh my God, I’m on a Disney set. My life is like about to change.’

“Sure enough, it did. I just remember coming to work with full face make-up, and now we’re all in our pajamas when we come to work.

“I’m definitely a lot more comfortable with myself and I don’t need to feel like I need to get dressed up every day. This is just like a home to us.”

Cassie (pictured posing with Miley above) had an errand to run for her mother at Somerset Mall and by chance, bumped into Miley Cyrus! However, her experience apparently wasn’t that great.

From Cassie: My mom asked me to run to Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan to pick up something for her today around 8:30 PM. I saw Miley looking at jewelry in the Junior’s department called BP at Nordstrom and I went up to her and said ‘I know you don’t want to hear it from another fan, but can I just get a picture with you really quick?’ She said, ‘Yah but hurry because my friends will get pissed’.

She was with 3 other people.. 2 girls and one boy. She was very rude. I went up to the cashier to pick up what I needed and I told her Miley was right over my right shoulder and when Miley walked by the cashier said ‘can I help you with anything?’ and Miley just completely ignored her and continued walking. She was wearing a see through white shirt and had a Neiman Marcus bag with her.

It is a bit surprising because Miley is usually considered to be one of the more fan-friendly celebrities. Perhaps she was in a bad mood for the MTV Music Video Awards snub or had a rough day? I suppose we’ll never know…

The list of nominees for the MTV Music Video Awards were released earlier today and surprisingly, Miley Cyrus did not make the list! Miley is not the only one who was snubbed, American Idol contestant, Adam Lambert’s name was nowhere to be found as well. Shocking because Lambert had three chart-topping music videos on MTV. It also goes without saying that one of the most talked about music videos of the year (that being Miley Cyrus‘ Can’t Be Tamed) is not being honored. Can’t Be Tamed garnered so much attention because it highlighted Miley Cyrus’ new, more sexy image.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards air live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 9PM. Fans can vote now for their favorite artists.
