You heard me, Miley Cyrus is taking a huge step in her life buy purchasing her first home. Her new home isn’t too far from her family in Toluca Lake, CA thankfully but what does this mean for the star? She is trying to show that she is much more mature than her Hannah Montana persona.

Her mother, Trish Cyrus, has revealed that Miley is incredibly excited on the prospects of living on her home and since Trish is an interior designer, you can expect the place to very nice. When decorating her home, Miley is thinking of a more “Zen-like” approach with simplicity and relaxation. I can just imagine being as busy as she, she definitely needs a place where she can unwind.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Miley joked about the “fist fights” she expects to have with her mother in IKEA. Watch below:

Do you remember your first kiss with your boyfriend? Was it awkward or nerve-wracking? Well, it was for Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth too! On the first date of their shoot, they had their kissing scene. Can you believe that? You barely met the guy and you already have to kiss him! Well, I guess if he’s as cute as Liam, it’d be ok.

Last night at The Last Song’s premiere, Miley Cyrus was interviewed about what she thought of the Justin Bieber Fever. You know what she said? She actually admitted to not listening to his music and not being a fan! She tried to redeem herself by saying how much her little sister, Noah Cyrus loves him though. Can you believe it? Instead, she confessed that her dream man is Kurt Cobain. For those of you who do not know who Kurt Cobain is, he was the frontman of the band Nirvana, husband to the train wreck that is Courtney Love, and supposedly killed himself with a shotgun. Sure, Kurt Cobain is considered to be a genius musician. His band pretty much invented the Rock genre we now call “Grunge” but his music is so sad and depressing.

Miley Cyrus has officially confirmed that she has a boyfriend. Of course, we all knew that her and The Last Song costar, Liam Hemsworth were romantically involved but it is great to know that this is not all speculation. She even went as far as to tell Ryan Seacrest that she “maybe” in love with him!

In a recent interview with the popular magazine, Tiger Beat, Miley Cyrus talked about her love of junk food and how she still gets grounded.

Miley in her own words:

I love junk food. I allow myself to eat it pretty often. My family and I love this place called Yogurt Tree. I usually get fruit and jelly beans. My yogurt will start healthy then I cancel it out…

I am the most frugal person. I think Forever 21 and Wal-Mart have cute stuff…

I got grounded for yelling at my mom about school. I wrote a song, ‘I’m about to get grounded right?’ and gave it to my mom. It made everything better.

Some of you may be wondering just how Miley Cyrus came upon Mate, her new German Shepherd puppy. Well, now all has been revealed!

Lexington couple Lewie and Beryl Phillips got into contact with the Cyrus family over a year and a half ago [pictured above]. They recognized that one of Billy Ray Cyrus’ most beloved pets is a German Shepherd and asked the family (the email) if they would be interested buying a puppy for Miley. You see, the Phillipses have been breeding top of the line German Shepherds for four years now so they naturally felt that Miley may want to follow in her father’s footsteps. They were right– she did.

When a new litter of puppies were born, they immediately made the family aware and Trish Cyrus (Miley’s mother) became interested in a specific puppy. That puppy was Mate who was named after Miley’s Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.

Miley bought herself a new car! Notorious for owning a Toyota Prius, she says that she traded it for a Mercedes Hybrid SUV because her new dog Mate is quickly outgrowing her Prius. She wrote on her MileyWorld blog:

Hey guys! Yesterday I got photographed in my new car and I want everyone to know I still haven’t given up hybrids! Mercedes came out with a new hybrid suv and I love it! Its blueish/ blackish/ purplish. Haha! I got a new dog named Mate who’s a German Shepard so like I said in a previous blog he is kinda out growing my prius! Anyways I love yall! Xox.

Miley Cyrus has revealed that her favorite movie is P.S. I Love You. Have you seen it? It is about a woman who receives a series of love letters from her dead husband and these letters lead her to her next romantic adventure. It is a really sweet movie. So, does this mean that Miley has a crush on Gerard Butler? Reports say “Yes”. What do I say? I think Miley is way too in love with Liam Hemsworth to even think about Mr. 300.

On February 2, best friends Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato were all smiles as they went to dinner in Studio City, Califronia. Miley’s boyfriend Liam Hemsworth also joined the two girls.

Its so great that Mate is a puppy so I can take him everywhere but it won’t be long until he’s his full size! He’s a German Shepard and will get up to 125 lbs! Ahhh! It’ll be a bit more difficult to fit him in my Prius haha!
