Guess what guys?
Miley’s upcoming film, The Last Song has been moved up! It was originally supposed to be released this past January but was pushed back to April 2, 2010. Now, it will be released two days earlier on March 31!
The only thing I have an issue with is how the studio keeps changing the release date but, now that it’s a bit sooner, I’m happy. =D

Simultaneously as the Oscar nominations were released, so were the Razzies. The Razzies are in it’s 30th year and in the past they have given worst actress to people like Mariah Carey and Worst Picture to Battlefield Earth. This year, our own Miley Cyrus was nominated for Worst Actress for Hanna Montana: The Movie. Can you believe that? I don’t think I could agree at all and I hope she doesn’t win. Miley is working hard to become a serious actress and this can become a bit of a roadblock.

Amy Colalella’s (very) long and winding musical road has come to a happy ending.
Outlasting 8,000 competitors in a year-and-one-half online talent search conducted by the Miley Cyrus fan club organization, the Plum singer-songwriter has emerged victorious in the “Are You A Superstar” contest.
She wins a record contract through the Cyrus organization and vocal coaching from Cyrus.
Colalella, whose first single could be released within eight weeks, was 15 when the contest began. She turns 17 in April.
“I’m ecstatic. I started crying when I found out. The whole thing is completely surreal to me, and it is all starting to sink in. I’m so blessed to be in this situation,” she says. “The journey was extremely long, stressful and tiring, but a complete thrill. I have met an amazing group of people from all over the world that have been extremely supportive of me.”
An estimated 250,000-plus votes were cast in the final round of video performances, for which balloting ended Sunday. Colalella sang a song she penned, the aptly titled, “Storybook Endings.”
“This is an overwhelming success for Amy. Over the course of the last four or five rounds, she was among the top in every single one. That was quite amazing,” says Jason Gluck, director of digital media for the Miley Cyrus organization, in announcing Colalella’s win Wednesday night.
He calls her vocal talent “extraordinary.”
“Every week, people from around the world watched in anticipation of Amy’s vocal displays,” Gluck says. “Each week she got stronger, putting her own spin on some great songs by truly wonderful vocalists, and held her own.”
The public connected to that, he says. “She earned the respect of her peers as a true artist, one with both musical and vocal talent.”
Colalella, a former Plum High School student, now a junior in Pennsylvania Cyber School, says she always has been the girl that sings in the shower and on car rides. “So this is an amazing experience for me,” she says.
It has been so for the entire family as well, say her parents, Gabe and Carole Colalella.
“We feel extremely blessed. She smiles a lot when she sings, and I think that her smile makes people feel good,” her dad says. “Through it all, she has not let this contest go to her head.”
It’s all “pretty exciting,” her mom says. “I feel once this takes off, it will really take off. She already has support from people around the world.”

Miley Cyrus is going to star alongside Demi Moore in the movie remake of a french film titled L.O.L. Laughing Out Loud. Variety reports that Moore will be playing Miley’s mother. The story of the film is as follows:
It’s the story of a teenage girl who, after getting dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend, makes a play for his best friend, all while her divorced mother deals with her own life issues.
Sounds exciting and as the title suggests, is going to be hilarious! I can’t wait.

Thank goodness for a large hard-drive! Most of the pictures from the previous gallery have been saved onto my computer so I was able to upload 500+ pictures! I am still working on the Hannah Montana gallery. I have so many pictures so it is taking a little longer than usual but I should have it up for you in no time.
Also, if you would like to be the Fan of the Month on Mile.biz, just send me an email with your first name, age, location, a paragraph on why you are Miley Cyrus’ biggest fan and your favorite Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana song to: admin@miley.biz.

You read the headline right! Miley Cyrus has teamed up with famed American Idol producer/creater Simon Cowell. This good partnership is due to an even greater cause: Haiti Relief. A few weeks ago, Haiti went through a debilitating 7.0 earthquake with aftershocks hitting 6.0 just last week. The poorest country in our (the United States’) hemisphere, buildings collapsed and hospitals were abandoned.
So, being the caring girl that she is, Miley Cyrus agreed to join Susan Boyle and Rod Stewart. There are other rumors that Paul McCartney and George Michael have also been approached to aid with the song. The song is promised to be released on iTunes this week so stay tuned! I will most definitely be breaking the news. And for those of you that do have iTunes and are Miley fans, I suggest you purchase the song for this noble cause (with your parent’s permission of course).
We do know that song is going to be called Everybody Hurts (a cover of REM’s song) and the lyrics will be as followed:
When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on
Don’t let yourself go, ’cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it’s time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you’ve had too much of this life, well hang on
‘Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don’t throw your hand. Oh, no. Don’t throw your hand
If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone
If you’re on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you’ve had too much of this life to hang on
Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone.

Hey Guys! This is Selina (for all of you who have been to Miley.biz). For those that haven’t, my previous host blocked access for me to post any updates onto the Miley Cyrus fansite. However, we are back and we have a new host!
Bad news: all the hard work I put into the previous version of Miley.biz has been deleted so I am essentially starting from scratch with the fansite and gallery.
So, what does that mean? That means that there are going to be plenty of links that don’t work exactly right. Until I get the pages up, you will get errors. Just stay tuned because there are going to be plenty of updates in the coming days. Also, if you have a question feel free to contact me at admin@miley.biz. I am looking for a Co-Webmaster to help me out also so if you are interested, just email me.
Be patient and I will have this up and running better than before. Thanks for visiting Miley.biz!
