There has been a slew of people criticizing Miley Cyrus and her new, racier image. Just these past couple of days, “California Gurls” beauty, Katy Perry compared her to being the next Britney Spears. That statement was not meant to be a compliment.

However, fellow music artist Kelis, is backing Miley Cyrus. Kelis said:

“If you’re an artist and if you’re any good, your feelings are on your sleeve,” she continued. “Who wasn’t like that at 17, 18? People forget that just because you are in the public eye they think you’re supposed to temper yourself…’I'm living my life out loud.’ I remember that. You’re finding your way.”

“I saw the video and I was like ‘wow.’ I knew exactly what she was going through as I watched it. I thought it was a beautiful video, she looks great, I get exactly what she’s saying, she couldn’t have put it more clear, She’s in a cage. I get it, it’s great, … I’m glad she did that. It’s her right.”

Way to go Kelis for having Miley Cyrus‘ back!

The answer is no. There were rumors that Miley Cyrus would be performing at the closing ceremonies of the World Cup in July and as great as that would have been, she has a scheduling conflict. Miley Cyrus will be in Detroit, Michigan filming her latest film, LOL starring alongside Demi Moore.

There is a lot of controversy brewing on the internet! Perez Hilton posted a picture “apparently” showing Miley Cyrus not wearing any underwear. However, the photos have come out and she was in fact wearing underwear. What does that mean? It means Perez Hilton photoshopped the picture on purpose to make it look like she was ‘going commando’. That is a serious offense being that Miley Cyrus is still considered a minor and if Perez Hilton gets a day in court, he could go to jail for at least 15 years and be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life. My question is, do you want him to pay for the consequences of doing something like that or do you not care? Is their trouble in paradise between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Well, after pictures of her kissing some other guy, some might say so. But! Do not fret Miley fans! She was just doing it for a music video for her friends in Rock Mafia. In the music video, actor Kevin Zegers sees Miley’s character and begins to have a dream sequence.

Kevin even admitted to it being weird as Liam Hemsworth and his own girlfriend were standing off-camera watching the whole thing! I would think that is pretty weird as well.

Miley Cyrus has come out in defense of the status of her relationship and she says that the break up rumors are just rumors. None of them are true:

Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy and a lot of that has to do with the amazing relationship he has with my family. We are both so busy right now, so having them by our side supporting us and our career is such a blessing! So any type of rumor that said there was drama with them is completely false. Thanks for letting me clear that up.
