CandGNews.com reports that Miley fans were out in full force when the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer filmed some scenes for her upcoming film, LOL, at a high school in Michigan. The massive crowd of tweenies who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favorite star had nothing but nice things to say about the 17-year-old celebrity.

One 10-year-old fan said that Miley is “just a good influence on young girls.” Some Miley critics might be surprised to hear this since it was previously reported in the New York Times that the Hannah Montana star was losing young fans with her sexy new image.

Although Miley was filming only a few feet from the crowd of fans she was unable to go over to them and sign autographs. One 14-year-old fan was disappointed and said that Miley “should give more to the fans.”

Miley started to veer away from her teeny bopper image when she released a sexy music video for “Can’t Be Tamed.” The video showed Miley performing in a different way that she normally does.   She dances with scantily-clad female dancers and unique outfits but I love it!  I honestly think the video is artsy and very creative!  Watch Miley Cyrus’ “Can’t Be Tamed” video below.

Eventually people do get older and move on with life.  Miley as Hannah Montana or just as herself, her fans are still sticking by her, sexy new image or not.

Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift videos pulled from MTV.com

If you want to watch the latest music videos from Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, or Taylor Swift, don’t try looking for it on MTV’s website. All three musicians are usually featured on www.MTV.com, but for the time being, none of their videos will be getting any exposure from the world famous website.

According to The New York Times, a disagreement between MTV and Vevo, a company backed by Universal, has resulted in a number of videos being pulled from the network. Universal has reportedly pulled the videos of many of its biggest artists until a resolution can be reached with MTV.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, MTV said that the two sides “were unable to reach a fair and equitable agreement.” Universal, in response, said that MTV was “unwilling to negotiate a fair syndication deal with Vevo to carry our artists’ videos.”

Other artists impacted by this dispute include: Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Rihanna.

It should get interesting the next couple of months because without the exposure from MTV that might deter possible sales and promotions for the artist which in return would affect the revenue for Universal.

Come on Vevo!  Stop ruining everyone’s day with selective demands.  Like the saying goes, “You’ll catch more bees with honey than vinegar.” :]  Having your videos on MTV is an excellent source for publicity and exposure.

Hope everything works out well for both the artist and MTV/Vevo/Universal.

Miley Cyrus is cleaning up her closet for good cause, to help raise money for several charity organizations. 

“Starting in August, you can bid on clothing and accessories straight from the closet of Miley Cyrus,” it was announced. “New auction will be added each week with all proceeds going to Get Ur Good On, a social network that brings together children and youth to support each other in the mission to do ‘good’ in their communities.”

Her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, snatched an award as well for Choice Movie: Male Breakout, thanks to his role apposite her in “The Last Song”.

“Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus may not be attending the Teen Choice Awards this year because she is working on a couple of new projects such as  “LOL”, but she is still finding a way to reach out to her young fans with some of her music.

The new project is a movie called “LOL: Laughing Out Loud.” The movie is a remake of a French movie made in 2008, and it is likely that Demi Moore will play Miley’s mom in the movie.

In the film, Miley’s character has been cast off by her boyfriend and decides to pursue his best friend, while at the same time her mother is divorced and is finding it difficult to restart her life as a single lady while trying to maintain a relationship with her daughter.

The updated version of the film will be written and directed by the original writer/director of the French film, Lisa Azuelos.

With that being said, Cyrus is also taking some time away from her new movie’s set in order to shoot a new music video for “Who Owns My Heart”.  What is odd is that it will be filmed overseas — Everyone is wondering wow will she have the time to finish both? –  Miley’s new song, “Who Owns My Hearts” will be launched as her next single from the “Can’t Be Tamed” album.

As for here in the United States, Miley is attracting more attention with her new single, “Two More Lonely People”, which kind of sounds close to Justin Bieber’s “One Less Lonely Girl.”  Both songs are great and it is going to be interesting to see which one makes it to the top of the charts!

The list of nominees for the MTV Music Video Awards were released earlier today and surprisingly, Miley Cyrus did not make the list! Miley is not the only one who was snubbed, American Idol contestant, Adam Lambert’s name was nowhere to be found as well. Shocking because Lambert had three chart-topping music videos on MTV. It also goes without saying that one of the most talked about music videos of the year (that being Miley Cyrus‘ Can’t Be Tamed) is not being honored. Can’t Be Tamed garnered so much attention because it highlighted Miley Cyrus’ new, more sexy image.

Miley Cyrus’ latest album, Can’t Be Tamed, has gone Gold in Australia! It seems that her sexy new image hasn’t deterred any of the Australian fans. Has it deterred your respect for her?

Miley Cyrus is swearing off the internet! Remember when the teen starlet deleted her Twitter account as a request from boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and how much of an uproar it caused? Now, she is saying some pretty harsh words about the internet as a whole and George Clooney whole-heartedly agrees. Miley Cyrus said, “I’m urging kids, don’t go on the Internet. It’s not fun; it’s dangerous”. George Clooney, another Hollywood star, said, “I would rather have a prostate exam on live television by a guy with very cold hands than have a Facebook page”.

Will you be swearing off Facebook and the internet after hearing what they have to say?

It is no secret that Gossip Girl’s resident problem child, Taylor Momsen, has been causing problems for herself. The Pretty Reckless singer has been speaking her opinions on Miley Cyrus and they are not very good at all; going as far as saying “Disney bubblegum sh*t.”

Of course, Miley Cyrus is not very happy with it. Miley Cyrus did have a lot of respect for Taylor until she got wind of just what Taylor was saying about her. A source close to Miley said:

“Miley is furious—who wouldn’t be? She thought Taylor was pretty cool until this happened, which has left her totally confused. Taylor is so obviously desperate for fame. I mean, she’s traipsing around town in her underwear, or is that for the love of the music too?”

Could it be jealousy that is driving Taylor? The source thinks it is:

“Miley has always had a lot of talent, and Taylor knows it. Taylor still sees her as a threat, which she is, although they’re hardly in the same league.”

There has been a slew of people criticizing Miley Cyrus and her new, racier image. Just these past couple of days, “California Gurls” beauty, Katy Perry compared her to being the next Britney Spears. That statement was not meant to be a compliment.

However, fellow music artist Kelis, is backing Miley Cyrus. Kelis said:

“If you’re an artist and if you’re any good, your feelings are on your sleeve,” she continued. “Who wasn’t like that at 17, 18? People forget that just because you are in the public eye they think you’re supposed to temper yourself…’I'm living my life out loud.’ I remember that. You’re finding your way.”

“I saw the video and I was like ‘wow.’ I knew exactly what she was going through as I watched it. I thought it was a beautiful video, she looks great, I get exactly what she’s saying, she couldn’t have put it more clear, She’s in a cage. I get it, it’s great, … I’m glad she did that. It’s her right.”

Way to go Kelis for having Miley Cyrus‘ back!
