A few posts back, I posted information on the “Everybody Hurts” cover which brought a number of celebrities together to benefit the relief efforts in Haiti. Well, they have released a music video which includes stars like Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, and Miley Cyrus. I do have to warn you that some of the images are graphic and you do see a lot of pain. Interested in helping Haiti? You can buy this song on iTunes starting tomorrow, February 9.

MADRID (Billboard) – Miley Cyrus is to play her first concert in Spain, at the Rock in Rio Madrid 2010 festival on June 6.
A week ago, Bon Jovi (June 4), Shakira and Rihanna (both June 5) were the first performers confirmed for this year’s Rock in Rio Madrid. Cyrus was added to the list Friday, with the news that June 6 will be a family day, with tens of thousands of children expected.
Rock in Rio Madrid will take place over two weekends — June 4-6, and two unconfirmed days of the following weekend — at Rock City, a 200,000-square-meter (50-acre) area in Arganda del Rel, 17 km (10 miles) from Madrid.
As a condition for playing the festival, Cyrus will not perform any other concert in Spain this year. Although she has never performed in Spain, Cyrus has a huge youth following here, and event organizer Roberto Medina announced her performance at a Madrid college in front of cheering and screaming children as well as TV cameras.
Cyrus’ new film, “The Last Song,” will premiere in Spain in May.
Rock in Rio was founded in Rio de Janeiro in January 1985, and subsequent events in Lisbon and Madrid have been arranged by Brazilian founder Medina. This will be the second Rock in Rio Madrid. The first, in 2008, was attended by 290,000 fans.

You read the headline right! Miley Cyrus has teamed up with famed American Idol producer/creater Simon Cowell. This good partnership is due to an even greater cause: Haiti Relief. A few weeks ago, Haiti went through a debilitating 7.0 earthquake with aftershocks hitting 6.0 just last week. The poorest country in our (the United States’) hemisphere, buildings collapsed and hospitals were abandoned.
So, being the caring girl that she is, Miley Cyrus agreed to join Susan Boyle and Rod Stewart. There are other rumors that Paul McCartney and George Michael have also been approached to aid with the song. The song is promised to be released on iTunes this week so stay tuned! I will most definitely be breaking the news. And for those of you that do have iTunes and are Miley fans, I suggest you purchase the song for this noble cause (with your parent’s permission of course).
We do know that song is going to be called Everybody Hurts (a cover of REM’s song) and the lyrics will be as followed:
When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on
Don’t let yourself go, ’cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it’s time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you’ve had too much of this life, well hang on
‘Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don’t throw your hand. Oh, no. Don’t throw your hand
If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone
If you’re on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you’ve had too much of this life to hang on
Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone.

Remember the song, “Send It On”? Last year many of the Disney stars got together to record a song for the Friends For Change project. Now, there have been talks that they are looking to do the same thing this year.
Who will be involved? Miley Cyrus of course. But, so will the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez (who is rumored to be dating Miley’s ex), and Tiffany Thornton.
The rumored song is thought to be called “Make a Wave” and from the sounds of it, it seems like we can expect this song in the summer. I, for one, am excited. I loved “Send It On” and I am sure that this new song will be just as great or better.

As you all know, Mikey Cyrus used to date an underwear model/singer/songwriter named Justin Gaston. After much scandal due to their age difference, Miley did break up with him. Now, it seems that he is still hurt about the idea. In his words:
You can always tell when someone’s getting ready to leave you but you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that’s left.
I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you’ll never feel again.
Justin Gaston’s debut single, Paper Hearts is said to be heavily influenced by his breakup with Miley. You can hear the sappy song below:
